SBI 5 – Year Regular Term Deposit 

In this Term Deposit scheme, the depositor needs to deposit a minimum Rs. 1,000. The depositor needs to deposit the lump sum amount that needs to be  deposited for 5 years. The SBI offers a minimum period of deposit for 7 days and maximum period of deposit for 10 years. There is no upper limit on the maximum deposit but Rs. 2 crore or more are considered as bulk deposit. The interest is payable to the depositor quarterly and provided at the time of maturity.
